Edward Butcher
Director/Senior Physiotherapist

I graduated from Curtin University School of Physiotherapy. Prior to becoming the Director of Kelmscott Physiotherapy, I gained my experience in Aged Care, Hospitals, Exercise Rehabilitation, Private Practice and Sports Injury Management.

Although I enjoy a variety of work here at this practice, I have a special interest in sports injury management and core stability training. The latter often includes pelvic floor and incontinence training using Real Time Ultrasound.

I have had the pleasure of being the Physiotherapist of the State under 19 & under 17 netball teams and am presently the Physiotherapist for the ARKS rugby union club.

In recent years I have not been able to be as involved in  state sports teams due to getting married and spending more time with my three girls.

Before my Physiotherapy training, I was an electrician at BHP Port Hedland and after my training I was able to travel overseas for 2 years through Europe, Africa and Asia. It was during that time that I was encouraged to follow my dream to go back to school and become a Physiotherapist.
