Michael Chmielewski
Director/Senior Physiotherapist

I was born in Perth and grew up living on an Orchard in Roleystone. I completed my degree at Curtin University and started practicing at Kelmscott Physiotherapy in 2014. I have over 10 years’ experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and recently became a co-director at Kelmscott Physiotherapy in 2023. I am currently living in Kelmscott with my wife and two young children.

I enjoy treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders, with a particular interest in the dizzy patient, sporting injuries and headaches. I also have additional training in Dry Needling Therapy and vertigo management.

Outside of Physiotherapy, I play football for the Roleystone Tigers and cricket for the Roleystone-Karragullen Cricket Club. Kelmscott Physiotherapy has been a proud sponsor for the tigers since 2024. Music has also been a fun past time of mine and love spending hours playing the guitar.

Conditions I have a keen interest in are as follows:

  • Vertigo and dizziness
    • Including BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), vestibular migraine and other balance disorders
  • Headaches
    • Cervicogenic (neck), tension and migraines
  • Acute sporting injuries and rehabilitation
  • Management of Osteoarthritis
